Volunteer at Arthritis Walk West Orange – Of Event

Sign up to volunteer at Walk to Cure Arthritis West Orange:

• Pre-Event - Help to spread awareness about the Arthritis Foundation and Walk to Cure Arthritis to local communities.
• Set up (6:15‑8:15 a.m.) - Volunteers are needed to help set up the Walk to Cure Arthritis.
• Registration/Check‑In/T‑Shirt Tent (7:00 a.m.‑10:00 a.m.) - These volunteers will be responsible for registering/checking in participants that are not currently registered, handling monetary transactions, and distributing pre‑assigned roles and t‑shirts to volunteers. Registration volunteers will also work the t‑shirt tent.
• Greeters (7:15 a.m.‑9:30 a.m.) - Help guide event participants to the different areas of the Walk.
• Course Directors (8:45 a.m.‑11:00 a.m.) - Help direct participants on the route as they walk around Orange Reservoir.
• Breakfast (7:00 a.m.‑11:00 a.m.) - Serve breakfast to participants and stock the food area.
• Mission Tent (7:00 a.m.‑11:00 a.m.) - Volunteers will help spread the mission of the Arthritis Foundation.
• Finish Line (9:15 a.m.‑11:00 a.m.) - Cheer on the participants as they begin the Walk and cross the finish line.
• Breakdown (10:00 a.m.‑12:30 p.m.) - Help pack up after the Walk.
• Photographer (7:30 a.m.‑11:30 a.m.) - Take pictures throughout the Walk.
• Cheer Crew (9:00 a.m.‑11:00 a.m.) - Cheer on all walkers at the start and finish lines, give directions to first walkers onto the Reservoir.
• Route Crew (9:00 a.m.‑11:00 a.m.) - Stationed on the route to cheer walkers, encourage participation, and located at the water stop.
• Special Event Photographers (7:00 a.m.‑11:00 a.m.) - Take pictures at multiple locations throughout the Walk site and route.
• Clean‑up Crew (9:00 a.m.‑12:00 p.m.) - Clean up/breakdown the Walk site and load the van.
