ENDOSCOPY REGISTERED NURSE PER-DIEM PROCEDURE ROOM RN

Northfield Surgical Center of West Orange, N.J., is an outpatient endoscopic facility specializing in colon cancer screening, gastroenterology and pain management. Our center has been designed to provide the ultimate in medical technology and quality, along with efficiency and convenience for the patient and family. Our mission is to provide a coordinated and safe delivery of care for the endoscopy patient.

• Work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks related to endoscopy procedures
• Apply the nursing process, including the knowledge of principles, theories and practices, and handle a wide variety of individuals efficiently and effectively

• Proficiency in acute care nursing, with strong knowledge and skills
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current state license to practice as a registered nurse
• Basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS
• Endoscopy procedure room experience is required
• Spanish or Russian speaking an advantage
