Schedule:

Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 Annually

Join Our Team and Lead with Compassion! Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about resident-centered care and thrives in a leadership role. As an RN Unit Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence and quality resident care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the DON and ADON in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department.
  • Ensure nursing staff comply with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and support nursing personnel to promote quality resident care and professional development.
  • Review and address resident, family, and staff concerns, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Manage unit staffing schedules and staffing levels while minimizing overtime and agency usage.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Teach, demonstrate, and evaluate nursing skills and competencies.
  • Oversee MDS completion and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care planning and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and resident records.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding efforts.
  • Attend meetings and committees as assigned.
  • Assume nursing responsibilities during weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Foster a compassionate, respectful, and resident-focused environment.
Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted RN License in the State of New Jersey.
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or healthcare setting preferred.
  • At least six (6) months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
