The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected will depend on several factors, including educational background, skills and professional experience.

System Wide Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) – RWJBarnabas Health is seeking experienced RNs to join our System‑Wide Float Pool. In this role, RNs will gain exposure to a broad scope of patient care within their specialty area while working assignments at each of the sites throughout our system. The RNs support the team and patients at each site for an average of three months per assignment.

This is an opportunity to float throughout the entire RWJBH system. Enhanced Float Differentials are offered.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing;
  Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years of Operating Room experience in a hospital setting; CNOR preferred.
• Current New Jersey RN licensure required. /li>
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills; proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and act as an effective role model.
• Flexibility and adaptability essential to meet System staffing needs as required.
• Travel required to various hospital‑based facilities within RWJBarnabas Health.
• Average site assignment is three months (length may vary based on facility need).
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.

• Possess exemplary critical care skills and knowledge with professionalism, cooperation, and accountability.
• Organize and administer individualized, age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit to support medical care.
• Support the philosophy, objectives and mission of RWJBarnabas Health and the Department of Patient Care Services in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, JCAHO requirements and other regulatory agencies.
• Participate in patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Participate in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
