Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to lead key accounting and financial activities for a growing manufacturing and distribution organization. This is an exciting growth-focused role
, offering the chance to work closely with executive leadership, including the VP of Finance, Controller, CEO, and cross-functional teams.

We’re looking for a sharp, analytical professional with experience in cost accounting, variance analysis, and financial planning—someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and contributing to the strategic direction of a scaling company. This role provides exposure not only within the core business but also across a broader family of brands as the organization continues to expand through acquisitions.

• Support organizational growth through accurate accounting of financial and business transactions.
• Deliver analytical, evaluative, and advisory insights that enhance decision-making.
• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger and cost accounting activities.
• Lead the month-end close process.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and investigate/report variances.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor invoices, and related processes.
• Generate financial reports and contribute to the annual budgeting process.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Set up new customer accounts and ensure proper onboarding.
• Perform light HR-related duties, including bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Assess, document, and strengthen internal controls; streamline accounting procedures.
• Build cross-functional relationships and serve as a credible, trusted partner throughout the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and financial evaluation skills.
