Tax Manager - Private Client Services; PCS

Job Overview

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. The role involves overseeing multiple client engagements, reviewing complex tax returns, managing staff, and conducting research. The manager should demonstrate strong leadership and foster professional growth among staff. Preferred location:
West Palm Beach. The position follows a hybrid schedule with three days a week spent in the office.

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and firm leadership.
• Develop expert knowledge in firm niches and share specialized skills.
• Ensure accurate time and billing for self and team.
• Train, supervise, and develop associates and seniors.
• Analyze clients’ businesses and complete tasks meeting deadlines.
• Solicit new client relationships and participate in seminars to expand networking.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and apply new knowledge to engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm.
• Hold self and direct reports accountable for developmental goals.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 5+ years of recent tax compliance or consulting experience in public accounting or a mix of public/private.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.
• Experience preparing and reviewing U.S. tax returns for partnerships, S‑corps, and individuals.

• Master’s Degree in Taxation or related field.
• Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.
