Urgent need for a Staff Accountant to be responsible for accounting and operational duties assigned by Operations Director. Some of the duties include expense allocation reporting, reconciling general ledger accounts to the monthly trial balance, maintaining financial reporting schedules for significant balance sheet asset accounts (Fixed Assets, Property Plant & Equipment and Liability Accrual accounts) Are you ready to accept the challenge?

What you’ll be doing :- Reconcile assigned general ledger balance sheet accounts monthly and analyze monthly material fluctuations
- Gather necessary supporting documentation to ensure the accuracy of elimination and consolidation journal entries to the general ledger accounting system
- Prepare accounting schedules for assigned balance sheet accounts. Assist with the analysis and interpretation of significant accounting trends and variations within the monthly roll‑forwards and reconciliations in a multi‑entity environment
- Assist with the analysis and review of monthly sales and related expenses to ensure proper classification to the correct period incurred and maintain liability accrual accounts
- Assist with the review of monthly accruals to ensure reasonableness of any recorded variances and ensure all liabilities are properly recorded for the period incurred
- Assist with the objective analysis of material financial statements fluctuations
- Other Ad‑Hoc tasks to be assigned
- BBA preferred
- 2 - 3 years of general ledger accounting and/or public accounting experience; must have a solid understanding of accounting concepts
- Intermediate Excel skills required, including the ability to use V‑lookups and pivot tables
- Ability to accomplish difficult tasks with minimal oversight and maintain a consistent level of accuracy in all assigned areas
- Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to present solutions to difficult accounting problems
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and follow‑up skills
