Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 per year.
Job DetailsWe are currently seeking a seasoned and dynamic Staff Accountant to join our finance team in the manufacturing industry. This permanent, full‑time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily accounting operations, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations.
- Coordinate and execute the month‑end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and reported on time.
- Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and aid in decision‑making processes.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate reviews and audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing variance analysis and detailed reports to management.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience in financial analysis, financial accounting, general ledger management, month‑end close processes, and account reconciliations.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial information to non‑financial colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
