Role DescriptionThe Accounting Manager role at Lynora’s is a full‑time, on‑site position based in West Palm Beach, FL. This role oversees day‑to‑day accounting operations, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger activities, and ensuring accurate journal entries. The Accounting Manager will track and reconcile fixed assets, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and monitor cash flow and key financial metrics for multiple restaurant locations.
Responsibilities also include maintaining internal controls, collaborating with operations leadership on financial performance, coordinating with external accountants or auditors as needed, and producing timely financial reports for management decision‑making.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Statements and Finance to support reporting, budgeting, and overall financial management.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to restaurant leadership.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger processes to ensure accurate and compliant records.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Fixed Assets, including tracking, capitalization, and depreciation for restaurant equipment and property.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA or CMA) are a plus.
- Experience in multi‑location retail, hospitality, or restaurant accounting is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on‑site, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
