Family Office Staff Accountant
Pride Staff is seeking a highly detail-oriented, discreet, and experienced Staff Accountant on behalf of a prominent, multi-generational Family Office client. This is an incredible opportunity to manage complex, high-volume financial operations in a fast-paced and collaborative in-office environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesMulti-Entity Bookkeeping: Manage daily bookkeeping activities for various individuals, trusts, and legal entities, including precise transaction entries and reconciliations.
Cash Management: Initiate and process secure domestic and international wire transfers.
Private Equity Support: Assist with capital calls and distribution processing by calculating pro‑rata member contributions, identifying funding sources, and initiating wires for CFO approval.
Real Estate & Expense Tracking: Track real estate operational expenditures, capital improvements, and maintain accurate classifications for high-volume credit card expenses.
Reconciliations: Perform comprehensive reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and complex investment activities.
Tax & Payroll Liaison: Generate organized reports for the tax department’s return preparation and support the Payroll Manager with household payroll processing as needed.
Payment Processing: Disburse payments related to real estate operations, private investments, household expenses, charitable donations, and gifts.
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Technical
Skills:
Deep understanding of general ledger fundamentals and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel.Operational Strength: Proven experience processing international/domestic wires and verifying wire instructions safely.
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-tasking abilities across multiple entities, and an unwavering commitment to discretion and privacy.
Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven,
100% in-office team environment.
Prior experience working within a family office, private equity firm, or real estate investment environment.
Hands-on experience with Archway (or similar family office accounting systems), Quick Books, or Quicken.
Prior exposure to managing household payroll processes.
