Litigation Administrative Assistant
An AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking a Litigation Administrative Assistant for its West Palm Beach office to support its National Civil Litigation Team.
The role provides full administrative and clerical support across a busy litigation practice. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents such as court filings, discovery materials, and correspondence, as well as maintaining electronic files in Net Documents. The position manages electronic court filings in Florida state and federal courts via the Florida ePortal and CM/ECF, monitors dockets, and tracks deadlines using the firm's docketing system.
The role also supports all phases of case preparation—hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials—and handles scheduling, attorney calendars, billing, time entry, conflict checks, and matter opening and closing.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience supporting civil litigation attorneys in federal and Florida state courts, with strong proficiency in litigation document preparation and electronic filing. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, along with familiarity with legal billing guidelines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, thrives under deadline pressure, and is committed to exceptional client service.
This is an in-office position.
