Land Rover Palm Beach is looking for skilled, flat-rate Automotive Technicians to join our growing team. Qualifications- At least 1 year of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting
- Land Rover experience is a plus
- ASE certification (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED; post-secondary automotive training a plus
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong technical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a professional appearance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work all scheduled hours, including some Saturdays
- Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems including engines, electrical, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Access and inspect vehicle systems using both manual and computerized diagnostic tools
- Provide accurate time and labor estimates for additional repairs
- Explain technical diagnoses and repair recommendations clearly to service advisors
- Disassemble and reassemble parts correctly and safely
- Operate power tools and standard automotive shop equipment with confidence
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, shop organization, and adhere to safety standards
- Complete all required documentation and follow dealership and regulatory procedures
- Attend training, meetings, and educational sessions as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
