Ultimate Staffing is seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst to support one of our key clients in West Palm Beach, optimizing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient acquisition of materials and services. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong negotiation and contract management experience.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze procurement activities to identify opportunities for strategic sourcing, cost savings, and improved purchasing leverage.
- Procure materials, equipment, and services in support of operational needs.
- Conduct continuous market research to identify new suppliers and cost‑reduction opportunities.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP).
- Evaluate supplier responses and lead negotiations, award recommendations, and agreement execution.
- Collaborate with contracts management, sourcing teams, and legal to minimize organizational risk in purchase orders and contracts.
- Administer new and existing contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, performance metrics, and deliverables.
- Manage supplier relationships to support long‑term value and performance.
- Partner with internal customers to understand complex project requirements.
- Develop procurement strategies that align with timelines, specifications, and cost objectives.
- Assist end users with developing statements of work (SOW), technical specifications, and performance criteria.
- Support special projects and perform other procurement‑related tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Procurement, Materials Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience (public or private sector).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures, market analysis and pricing, product characteristics, technical and general specifications, procurement policies and legal considerations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Procurement Certification upon employment.
- Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO)
- Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB)
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
- Other nationally recognized procurement certifications
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficiency with procurement systems and ERP tools.
- Negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and contractual terms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
