Mid‑Level Estimator – Construction

Job Details
We are seeking a Permanent Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process, ensure cost-effectiveness, and play a key role in project planning and procurement.
Responsibilities
Lead the cost estimation process for construction projects, ensuring all cost considerations are accurately accounted for.Participate in project bidding, developing competitive and accurate bids that align with the company's strategic objectives.Manage cost throughout the project lifecycle, identifying opportunities for cost savings and ensuring projects stay within budget.Oversee procurement processes, ensuring materials and services are acquired in a timely and cost‑effective manner.Develop detailed project estimates using deep understanding of construction processes, materials, and market trends.Assist with project planning, working closely with project managers and other stakeholders to develop realistic and achievable project plans.Apply value engineering principles to optimize project cost, quality, and scheduling.Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring that all project estimates reflect the project’s design and scope.Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry with a proven track record of accurate, competitive estimating.Extensive knowledge of cost estimation processes and tools, with the ability to lead the estimation process for large, complex projects.Experience with project bidding and a history of developing winning bids.Strong cost management skills, with the ability to keep projects within budget while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.Experience with procurement in the construction industry, with the ability to negotiate favorable terms and manage suppliers effectively.Proficiency in project estimation and planning, with the ability to develop detailed, realistic project plans.Knowledge of value engineering principles and their application in the construction industry.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, with a deep understanding of construction processes and materials.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Benefits
