Summary

Our company has an immediate opening for a skilled and dedicated Laborer, Construction in West Palm Beach, Fl. The Laborer, Construction will be responsible for performing various tasks to aid in the construction, maintenance, and repair of roadways and related infrastructure. This role requires physical labor, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and possess a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites.
• Operate hand tools (shoveling, raking, etc.)and power equipment.
• Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
• Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Assist in the installation of drainage systems, sidewalks, curbs, and road surfaces.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Prior experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Knowledge of basic construction techniques and tools.
• Ability to follow and verbal instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Pass drug test, fit‑for‑duty test and background check.

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods.
• Must have good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
• Capability to perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).

• Outdoor construction sites with exposure to various weather conditions.
• Noise levels associated with heavy equipment operation.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
