BIM Coordinator

We are representing one of South Florida's fastest-growing General Contractors in the search for a BIM Coordinator to join its team in West Palm Beach.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with BIM/VDC experience who wants to work directly alongside construction teams on major ground-up projects across South Florida.

You don't need to have 10+ years of experience. We're much more interested in finding someone technically strong, ambitious and comfortable working with project teams, subcontractors and MEP trades to solve coordination issues before they reach the field.

The Role

Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Preconstruction and trade partners, you will support BIM/VDC coordination throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing, reviewing and coordinating BIM models
• MEP and trade coordination across active construction projects
• Identifying and resolving clashes between architectural, structural and MEP systems
• Working directly with subcontractors and project teams through the coordination process
• Producing and maintaining coordinated models and construction documentation
• Supporting constructability reviews and coordination meetings
• Assisting field teams with model-based coordination and technical issues
• Maintaining BIM standards and project model accuracy
• Supporting project teams through preconstruction and construction

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with BIM/VDC professionals with experience in commercial construction, general contracting, MEP coordination or a closely related environment.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Experience working as a BIM Coordinator, VDC Coordinator, BIM/VDC Engineer or similar
• Experience with Navisworks and clash detection
• Understanding of MEP systems and construction coordination
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Experience working with contractors, subcontractors and/or project teams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

General Contractor experience would be highly advantageous, but we are open to candidates coming from subcontractors, MEP contractors or other construction environments with strong BIM coordination experience.
