Murray Logan Construction is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil/marine construction projects. The APM will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and design professionals to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, bachelor's degree in construction management.
• Primavera or other scheduling software experience required.
• An understanding of the highway construction industry and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Estimating and Buying experience.
• Excellent scheduling, problem resolution and communication skills.
• Demonstrated good judgment in recommendations and decisions in formulating and executing project strategy.
• Strong analytical skills, very detail oriented and organized.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Ability to travel by driving a vehicle or as a passenger on an airplane to various locations. Physical dexterity may involve stretching, proper placement of legs, and use of arms and hands in repetitive motions.

The employee must be able to maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities occurring at the site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment and the movement of mobile equipment.
