The CDL Class A and Class B Driver role is an on-site position based out of our Loxahatchee/West Palm Beach area office, with travel to MJC Land Development project locations throughout Florida.

The driver safely operates commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from construction sites while following all applicable traffic and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, maintaining accurate delivery logs, and communicating with supervisors and project teams regarding schedules and job site needs.

Drivers support our land development and construction operations by assisting with loading and unloading, following directions from project managers and supervisors, and adapting to changing job requirements and project locations. The ability and willingness to travel throughout Florida is an important part of this position.

The role requires consistent punctuality, adherence to company policies, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a professional construction team.

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B license with a clean driving record and current DOT medical certification.
• Proven experience operating commercial trucks and related equipment, preferably in construction, site development, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and load-securement practices.
• Basic understanding of vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow delivery schedules, site maps, and supervisor instructions.
• Ability to safely load, unload, secure, and transport equipment and materials.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including climbing in and out of vehicles, lifting materials, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional, dependable, and safety-focused work ethic.
• Willingness and ability to travel to MJC project locations throughout Florida as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with site development, civil construction, earthwork, or related projects is a plus.
