Commercial Drywall Superintendent
Gpac is working with a reputable drywall contractor who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Drywall Superintendent to join their dynamic team. As a Commercial Drywall Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing drywall projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Oversee all phases of drywall projects from start to finish.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
2. Quality Control:
- Maintain high-quality standards for all drywall installations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets industry regulations and company standards.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate on-site teams, including drywall installers and subcontractors.
- Provide guidance and training to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
4. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other team members.
- Provide regular project updates and address any concerns promptly.
5. Budget Management:
- Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
6. Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and adhere to safety regulations on all job sites.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure proper safety protocols are followed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Drywall Superintendent in commercial construction.
- In-depth knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient computer skills, including project management software.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Drywall Superintendent.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
- Experienced in metal framing, interiors/exteriors, insulation, carpentry (preferred)
