Construction Superintendent

About the role:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for site development and road construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the overall project including but not limited to contract drawings, project specifications, and any subsequent change orders or addenda.
• Manage earthwork, grading, drainage, underground utilities, r
  oadway construction, asphalt paving, concrete work, and related site activities.
• Communicate issues, events, performance, and progress. Report any problems promptly in an effort to facilitate the most cost-effective solutions.

Requirements/

Skills:

• Minimum 3+ years of superintendent experience in site development, heavy
• civil, or roadway construction
• Experience managing a team of 3+ employees
• Experience and knowledge of roadway and site development construction
• means and methods, project administration, and a thorough understanding of
• industry practices
• Experience with earthwork, underground utilities,
  paving operations, MOT,
• and drainage systems
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Provide leadership as part of a changing environment
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Driver’s license required
