The Service Advisor is responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle repair needs by acting as the primary liaison between the customer and the service repair teams.

  • Interact with customers, listen to their concerns, and provide timely responses.
  • Educate clients about the company’s products, services, and offers.
  • Schedule appointments, take orders, monitor service progress, calculate charges, and process payments.
  • Review customer accounts and report changes to internal staff.
  • Manage complaints, returns and resolve customer grievances.
  • Record customer details and transactions.
  • Serve as a customer relationship manager.
  • Serve as a link between customers and various departments within the organization.
  • Ensure sales goals are achieved.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 2+ years experience in a service advisor role, preferred.
  • Proven demonstration of strong customer service skills.
  • Tire experience and/or commercial tire experience is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in computer applications and industry‑specific software.
  • Basic accounting skills and knowledge of electronic payment systems.
Required Licenses or

Certifications:

Driver's License, unrestricted

Work Environment/Expectations:
  • Work will occur in well‑lit, well‑ventilated repair shop locations.
  • Exposure is grease, car exhaust and chemicals is expected.
  • Background noise from coworkers, vehicles and various tools is expected.
  • Must wear company branded work attire.
Physical Requirements
  • Bending, sitting and squatting is expected.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Regular use of computer keyboard and telephone.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds routinely.
  • Must be able to walk, talk, listen and speak clearly.
  • Use of fine motor skills is expected.
