Location: West Palm Beach / Palm Beach County, Florida
Job Type: Contract (90 days), with option to convert to full-time
Work Setting: Local / field-based
Compensation: Competitive contract compensation based on experience, equipment, and availability
We are building a next-generation experiential design studio focused on luxury and ultra-luxury residential projects in Palm Beach County. Our goal is to create an industry-leading client experience by combining site capture, spatial technology, immersive visuals, and integrated design presentations across architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design.
We are hiring a Digital Site Capture & Spatial Inventory Specialist to lead the field-capture side of that workflow.
This role is for someone who understands how to document a property so it can be used for:
Gaussian splatting
future 3D modeling
immersive presentations
This is not a basic drone-operator role and not a traditional survey-only position. We want someone who can think strategically about what must be captured, how it should be captured, and how that data will be used downstream.
What You’ll Be Responsible For- Travel to project sites in the West Palm Beach / Palm Beach County area
- Capture complete, organized, high-value site inventory using a mix of:
- drone photography and video
- 360 imagery
- LiDAR scanning
- ground photography
- Help determine the right capture approach for each property based on presentation and modeling goals
- Gather data suitable for:
- site/context modeling
- design presentations
- Document critical existing conditions, including:
- structures
- topography and grading
- hardscape
- planting and trees
- site circulation
- views
- adjacent conditions
- outdoor living areas
- key architectural and landscape features
- Organize and deliver field data in a clean, usable, clearly labeled format
- Collaborate with leadership to improve capture standards, equipment strategy, and workflow over time

- your data reduces return trips and missing information
- your field inventory supports both early concept work and high-end downstream modeling
- you help us build a repeatable, best-in-class site capture process for luxury residential design
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- drone-based property capture
- LiDAR scanning
- photogrammetry
- reality capture for design, construction, or visualization
- Strong understanding of how field capture supports later modeling, visualization, or presentation workflows
- Strong file organization and documentation habits
- Reliable transportation and ability to work locally in the field
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
- Experience with Leica BLK
360 or similar LiDAR tools - Experience with Gaussian splatting, photogrammetry, or similar reality-capture workflows
- Experience with luxury residential properties
- FAA Part 107 certification
- Familiarity with tools such as Polycam, Reality Capture, Metashape, Postshot, Matterport, or comparable platforms
- Understanding of architecture, landscape architecture, or construction documentation
- Initial 90-day contract role
- Opportunity to convert to full-time after 90 days if both parties agree it is the right fit
- Project-based and flexible at the start, with room to grow as the workflow expands
