• School District of Palm Beach County (Specific Campus TBD)
• Placement Area:Positions will be based at various campuses within the Palm Beach County area:
  • Zip codes: 33406, 33468, 33432 and surrounding regions
  • Final site placement will be confirmed prior to the start date based on program enrollment

• In-person position during the school day

• Part-time Status:5–16+ hours per week.
• Minimum Commitment:Requires a minimum of 1-2 hour a day weekly, Monday–Friday.
• Primary Shift:Approximately 10 hours per week, typically delivered in two 5-hour blocks (e.g., 2 days per week).Specific shift days will be finalized based on the assigned school site’s needs and the tutor's availability.
• Flexibility & Growth:Potential for 5+ additional hours weekly through a combination of other in-person site needs.

• $29-30 per hour, based on experience and other factors

• Work as an ESE Tutor, supporting Kindergarten-5th grade students in ELA and Math.
• Support students in Special Education with IEP's.
• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

• A teaching credential issued by the state of Florida or A bachelor's degree accompanied by a Statement of Eligibility issued by the Florida Department of Education (ESE Certificate)
• Have classroom experience teaching or supporting reading instruction
• Have experience with Special Education students
• Have experience using the Science of Reading or willingness to be trained in this
• In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• You can provide 3 professional references
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
