All applicants recommended for employment must comply with procedures from the Superintendent and School Board Policy 3.10. This includes completing forms required by federal and state agencies, the School Board, and the employee benefits package. The district is a drug‑and‑alcohol‑free workplace; drug testing is mandatory. Selected employment categories must also undergo a pre‑employment medical clearance. A keyboarding test may be required for specific clerical positions with a specified words‑per‑minute requirement.
All finalists may be required to undergo background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse as required by Florida Statute §435.12. Additional information will be provided upon offer.

Foreign Education CredentialsForeign education must be evaluated by an agency approved by the Florida Department of Education. A course‑by‑course evaluation is required for college‑level education.
