Instructional Coach

The Instructional Coach supports teachers in improving instructional practices and student achievement. This role collaborates with educators to analyze student data, implement effective teaching strategies, integrate curriculum standards, and promote professional growth. Responsibilities include modeling lessons, providing classroom-based coaching, facilitating professional development, and supporting school improvement initiatives. The Instructional Coach works closely with administrators and teachers to foster a culture of continuous learning and instructional excellence.

• Partner with teachers to improve instructional practices and student learning outcomes.
• Observe classroom instruction and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Model effective teaching strategies, lessons, and classroom management techniques.
• Support the implementation of curriculum standards, district initiatives, and best practices.
• Analyze student achievement and assessment data with teachers to inform instruction.
• Facilitate professional development sessions, workshops, and collaborative learning opportunities.
• Assist teachers in developing lesson plans, assessments, and differentiated instructional strategies.
• Promote the effective use of instructional technology and digital learning tools.
• Support new teachers through mentoring, onboarding, and ongoing coaching.
• Collaborate with administrators to identify instructional needs and school improvement goals.
• Participate in professional learning communities (PLCs) and data team meetings.
• Monitor the impact of coaching efforts and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
• Research and share current educational trends, resources, and evidence-based practices.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on continuous professional growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.

• Masters Degree

• Valid professional teaching certificate

• $55,000 (commensurate with teaching experience)
