The Lead Teacher serves as an instructional leader and member of the school leadership team, supporting teachers, administrators, and school-wide initiatives to improve student achievement and instructional effectiveness. The Lead Teacher provides coaching, professional development, curriculum support, and data-driven leadership while helping implement the school's vision and strategic goals.

Job Requirements
  • Instructional Leadership
  • Support the implementation of curriculum, instructional frameworks, and district initiatives.
  • Model research-based instructional practices and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Observe classrooms and provide feedback, coaching, and support to teachers.
  • Assist with the development and monitoring of school improvement goals.
  • Promote effective use of instructional technology and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Teacher Development
  • Mentor and support new and veteran teachers.
  • Coordinate and facilitate professional learning communities (PLCs).
  • Plan and deliver professional development sessions.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, differentiation, assessment design, and intervention strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative culture focused on professional growth and student success.
  • Data Analysis and Student Achievement
  • Lead data discussions and support teachers in analyzing student performance data.
  • Identify instructional trends, achievement gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of intervention and enrichment programs.
  • Monitor progress toward school and district achievement goals.
  • Serve as a member of the school leadership team.
  • Collaborate with administrators on school-wide planning and decision-making.
  • Assist with accreditation, compliance, and school improvement processes.
  • Support implementation of school policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate special projects and committees as assigned.
  • Family and Community Engagement
  • Support communication between school staff, families, and community partners.
  • Assist with parent workshops, school events, and outreach activities.
