Instructional applicants will be required to submit the following documents upon being offered a teaching position. To expedite the hiring process if you are offered a position, it is recommended that you prepare these requirements once you begin applying for teaching jobs.

Upon being offered an instructional job that requires certification, you will need to submit copies of any of the following that apply:

• Florida Educator's Certificate
• Statement of Eligibility (Letter from the Florida Department of Education)
• Active/Valid Out-of-State Certification (if applicable)

You must submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities from which you earned a degree. Official college transcripts may be sent by colleges/universities to:

NOTE:

Foreign education must be evaluated by an agency that is approved by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE). A course by course evaluation is required for college-level education. A translation is not the same as an evaluation.

The District only accepts educational credentials from institutions that are accredited by an accrediting agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. For a list of recognized accrediting agencies and their status with the U.S. Department of Education.
