NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners, Palm Beach County, State of Florida, will receive sealed bids from qualified Contractors, at:

until the hour of 2:00 PM, Local Time, March, 10, 2026 and said bids will be opened and publicly read immediately thereafter in the conference room, at the above address, on the same day for:

Palm Beach County Department of Airports

The work generally consists of:
Roadway widening and rehabilitation along James L. Turnage Boulevard and Perimeter Road to improve Cargo Access Facility ingress/egress operations. General work elements include asphalt removal, widening, subgrade compaction, subbase and lime rock base course construction, paving, signing, pavement markings, drainage improvements and electrical work.

All conditions and requirements for bid submission, consideration, and award are contained in the Contract Documents, which include the plans and specifications. The work must conform to plans and specifications, which may be obtained or examined on or after February 9, 2026. The Contractor should access the site on a daily basis to be aware of any new data (addenda) that is added to the site. The Department of Airports is not responsible for failure to obtain all documents required in order to be considered responsive.

Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by Palm Beach County and accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, money order or a bid bond submitted on the form provided, in favor of Palm Beach County in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price.

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope as described in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS.

Bidders are encouraged to attend a Non‑Mandatory Pre‑bid Conference to be held at 10:00 a.m. Local Time, on February 19, 2026 in the Department’s main conference room. Interested individuals can contact the Department of Airports for directions:
