Technology Designer

You will produce and edit construction drawings and specifications for Division 27 and Division 28 low voltage systems. You will coordinate with architects, project managers, engineers, clients, and contractors to facilitate the successful design of these systems.

• Provide design and project management support for the following systems:
  • Structured cabling (fiber/copper)
  • Public Address/Intercom
  • Sound reinforcement
  • Video distribution
  • Intrusion detection
  • Access control
  • Video surveillance
  • ERRC
  • Fire alarm
• Work within industry code requirements and proper construction methods involved in designing the listed systems.

• Knowledge of and experience with one or more of the systems listed above
• Associate’s degree in technology/communications engineering or 5+ years industry experience
• 1‑3 years of Revit and/or AutoCAD experience
• Ability to self‑assess and command a high level of accuracy
• Strong oral, written, and communication skills
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills
