The Chief Mechanical Estimator will oversee all estimating and preconstruction operations for the Florida business unit while playing a critical role in business development, client engagement, and strategic market expansion. This executive will lead a high-performing estimating staff, develop strong relationships with contractors and owners, and expand fabrication and prefabrication services throughout the Florida market.

• Lead all HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping estimating operations
• Manage and mentor a team of estimators and preconstruction professionals
• Oversee conceptual estimating, budgeting, GMP development, and competitive bid strategies
• Develop and strengthen relationships with owners, developers, engineers, and general contractors throughout Florida
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in strategic market sectors
• Expand fabrication and prefabrication partnerships with external contractors
• Collaborate closely with operations leadership to ensure successful project turnover and execution
• Drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the preconstruction department
• Support long-term growth initiatives and strategic planning efforts

• Minimum 10 years of mechanical estimating experience
• Extensive experience estimating HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping systems
• Proven leadership experience managing estimating or preconstruction teams
• Strong understanding of large-scale commercial and industrial construction markets
• Established relationships within the Florida construction industry preferred
• Experience supporting fabrication and prefabrication operations strongly preferred
• Strong business development and client relationship skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
