Transportation Roadway Engineer II​/III

Ardurra is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Engineer in our West Palm Beach, FL office!

Ardurra’s Transportation team offers design capabilities ranging from complex multilevel interchanges to urban arterial reconstruction to complete streets for our clients. Our portfolio includes the I‑395 Signature Bridge reconstruction project in Downtown Miami. We deliver customized, sustainable, and cost‑effective solutions across all project types, including Design Build and Design Bid Build.

We are looking for an engineer with experience in roadway and drainage design to support a wide range of FDOT projects. Projects will include minor and major/complex roadways and interchanges, and the role offers the opportunity to mentor junior staff and to learn from local experts.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of transportation‑related design projects, developing contract plans, specifications, and estimates for construction. They should have experience with the entire project design delivery process and perform engineering design tasks pertaining to roadway geometric design, production of plans, and writing technical reports and documents.

• Research, collect, and review data for transportation‑related projects
• Complete technical assignments that include planning, modeling, calculations, design, detailed cost estimates, specifications, and permitting
• Utilize specialized computer software to assist with the analysis, design, and plan production for new transportation systems or parts of systems, such as highways, streets, bridges, drainage structures, and roadway lighting
• Aid in the preparation of detailed reports and documentation of the design approach
• Assist with plan alterations and modifications of existing streets, highways, or freeways to improve traffic flow

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• Approximately 3–8 years of progressive engineering experience in transportation design
• Proficient in Microstation and Open Roads Designer
• Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
