Aboutthe Role
We're seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers the chance to lead and contribute to challenging projects for municipal and private clients, focusing on stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and sustainable design practices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage civil and water resources study/design projects from concept through delivery.
- Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models for stormwater systems.
- Prepare drainage studies and stormwater master plans.
- Design municipal improvements including stormwater facilities (channels, culverts, detention basins, etc.).
- Incorporate resiliency, LID, sea level rise, and climate change considerations into designs.
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- Perform quality control on models, reports, and designs.
- Coordinate permitting with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Education:
B.S. in Civil Engineering (Water Resources emphasis preferred). - License:
Florida P.E. License is a must. - Experience:
6+ years in civil/water resources design. - Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and infrastructure design principles.
- Proficiency in H&H modeling (Storm Wise/ICPR preferred).
- Excellent technical writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and travel within the service area.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS (preferred).
