Position Specific Description

This position performs extensive engineering analysis for technical decisions to support business unit objectives. Performs engineering, root cause analysis, develop associated cost-effective countermeasures, and provide expert advice for system malfunctions affecting the ability of business unit assets to meet their objectives. Assures designs meet regulatory codes and operability, reliability and cost targets. Develops scope, design criteria, perform complex data collection, and engineering analysis/design for completion of large projects.

Develops procedures for testing major components. Provides work directions to subordinate engineers and technicians. Develops short- and long-term resource allocation plans.
