What You Will Do
- Perform advanced operational, functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electrical systems to ensure a defect-free aircraft
- Lead by example, providing technical guidance and direct training to support cross-functional workforce development
- Install and functionally test avionics/electrical components per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals
- Diagnose system discrepancies and execute timely, high-quality repairs to minimize schedule impact
- Repair or replace wiring and components using approved techniques including splicing, soldering, and pinning
- Perform and oversee compliance with engineering changes and modifications
- Set up and operate test equipment; conduct performance and reliability evaluations
- Ensure all work is properly documented in logs and maintenance records
- Pre-inspect work prior to quality inspection to reduce rework and improve efficiency
- Support team leadership responsibilities to ensure Safety, Quality, and schedule adherence
What You Will Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Six (6) years of avionics/electrical experience; or two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and four (4) years of related experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in aircraft avionics systems
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor others in a team-based environment
- A & P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred
- Gulfstream experience on mid-cabin and large-cabin aircraft preferred
- Must be able to work any shift

Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Six (6) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years related experience. A & P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.
Position Purpose:
Provides leadership, technical expertise and guidance while performing various operational, functional tests and repairs of avionics/electronic, aircraft equipment and systems to ensure a defect free aircraft. Provides superior technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact. Demonstrates technical expertise and leadership by defining and implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising Safety or Quality.
Demonstrates the knowledge and leadership skills required. to fill in for the team leader thus ensuring that the company goals of Safety and Quality are enforced all times while adhering to daily work plans to maintain schedule requirements.
