Avionics Electrical Technician 4 – Palm Beach, FL
Overview
:
Gulfstream seeks an experienced technician to perform advanced operational and functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electrical systems to ensure defect‑free aircraft and support ongoing safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

- Perform advanced operational, functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electrical systems to ensure a defect‑free aircraft
- Lead by example, providing technical guidance and direct training to support cross‑functional workforce development
- Install and functionally test avionics/electrical components per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals
- Diagnose system discrepancies and execute timely, high‑quality repairs to minimize schedule impact
- Repair or replace wiring and components using approved techniques including splicing, soldering, and pinning
- Perform and oversee compliance with engineering changes and modifications
- Set up and operate test equipment; conduct performance and reliability evaluations
- Ensure all work is properly documented in logs and maintenance records
- Pre‑inspect work prior to quality inspection to reduce rework and improve efficiency
- Support team leadership responsibilities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Six years of avionics/electrical experience; OR two years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and four years of related experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in aircraft avionics systems
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor others in a team‑based environment
- A & P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred
- Gulfstream experience on mid‑cabin and large‑cabin aircraft preferred
- Must be able to work any shift
