Avionics Electrical Technician 4 – Palm Beach, FL

Gulfstream seeks an experienced Avionics Electrical Technician to support advanced operational and functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electrical systems on aircraft. The role provides technical expertise and leadership to maintain a defect‑free fleet.

• Perform advanced operational, functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electrical systems to ensure a defect‑free aircraft.
• Install and test avionics/electrical components per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Diagnose system discrepancies and execute timely, high‑quality repairs to minimize schedule impact.
• Repair or replace wiring and components using approved techniques including splicing, soldering, and pinning.
• Perform and oversee compliance with engineering changes and modifications.
• Set up and operate test equipment; conduct performance and reliability evaluations.
• Ensure all work is properly documented in logs and maintenance records.
• Pre‑inspect work prior to quality inspection to reduce rework and improve efficiency.
• Support team leadership responsibilities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six (6) years of avionics/electrical experience, or two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling plus four (4) years of related experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in aircraft avionics systems.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor others in a team‑based environment.
• A&P, FCC, or NCATT certification preferred.
• Gulfstream experience on mid‑cabin and large‑cabin aircraft preferred.
• Must be able to work any shift.
