Position Summary

Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring high levels of client, customer and associate satisfaction at a designated Towne Park location. Key responsibilities include managing the delivery of guest/patient services; hiring, training, evaluating and discharging associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; financial management and reporting; addressing customer complaints; and managing a minimum of two associates.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the guest service experience is delivered exceptionally and consistently on all shifts; set a positive example for guest relations and empower associates to provide excellent customer service.
  • May perform guest/patient service duties including valet parking, bell services, and door services to meet quality and service standards.
  • Efficiently allocate labor resources to support service delivery and adjust staffing as needed; review comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees.
  • Actively engage in recruitment and hiring to secure qualified location staff; respond to associate feedback and surveys.
  • Assist Account Manager in establishing guidelines; oversee orientation and on-the-job training; recognize and develop top performers; coach and train where improvement is needed; conduct regular performance appraisals and provide feedback.
  • Develop cohesive relationships with client staff; maintain regular communications and visibility on site; ensure team is focused on client objectives and exceeding expectations.
  • Understand and drive business metrics for forecasting, productivity, claims, customer service, and turnover; oversee revenue identification for vehicles; ensure accurate shift reports, cash drops and revenue reconciliation; control scheduling, overtime, tip reporting and timekeeping.
Qualifications
  • Education
    :
    Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred;
    Required Licensure/Certification:
    Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Experience
    :
    Minimum of one (1) year of related hospitality experience.
  • Knowledge
    :
    Towne Park safety and security procedures, safe driving policies, incident reporting, equipment training, claim check/ticketing/key box policies, customer service principles, confidentiality policies (HIPAA), business writing, basic accounting and business metrics; familiarity with client facilities, locations and services.
  • Skills
    :
    Ability to drive manual transmission; computer proficiency with MS Office and POS systems; strong verbal and written communication; ability to present to individuals and groups; culturally aware, professional demeanor; ability to interpret policies and procedures; ability to handle guest/patient complaints calmly and effectively.
Working Conditions & Benefits

Working conditions and physical demands are described, with reasonable accommodations available. Compensation includes base pay range of $60,000–$65,000, potential annual incentive bonuses, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, disability, and 401(k)). Paid Time Off includes PTO accrual, holidays and floating holidays, subject to eligibility and plan terms.

Work Environment and Travel

Travel up to 10% may be required. Majority of work performed in a climate-controlled environment with occasional exposure to inclement weather.
