Overview
Senior Accountant - Energy - West Palm Beach - Onsite 1 day/week
A well-established energy company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly close and financial reporting processes. The role is located in West Palm Beach, and this person will be onsite 1 day per week.
Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, complete, and accurate close and forecasting processes
- Own account reconciliations and flux analysis; research and resolve general ledger issues
- Lead internal and external audit processes, including SOX and tax-related requests
- Collaborate with operations and finance on annual budgeting and capital spend tracking
- Serve as a primary finance partner to operations, answering financial questions and supporting issue resolution
- Present financial results to leadership and participate in management meetings
- Support due diligence activities and acquisition integrations
- Assist with financial system upgrades and new system implementations
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years of experience
CPA preferred but not required
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who is looking for a clear path for professional growth. The approximate salary range for this position is between $70K-$100K.
