Opportunity

SMArtX is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our Finance Team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring revenue accuracy, billing integrity, and timely reporting across clients, advisors, and partners. The position is based in our West Palm Beach office and will work closely with internal teams to support core financial operations.

SMArtX Advisory Solutions is a leading innovator of unified managed accounts (UMA) technology across the financial services industry and the architect of the SMArtX Turnkey Asset Management Platform (TAMP). We build UMA solutions by leveraging cloud-based technology, microservices infrastructure, and APIs to simplify the investment management process for enterprise and advisory clients.

• Calculate monthly client revenues and corresponding revenue-share amounts with partner vendors
• Prepare and deliver monthly client fee reports, including fee calculations and collection status
• Reconcile cash collections across multiple custodial platforms
• Invoice clients for monthly and quarterly fees
• Calculate payout amounts for advisors and money managers
• Respond to client inquiries and submit, track, and resolve related support tickets
• Assist in developing and improving billing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with the billing team and cross-functional partners to identify process improvements
• Support the Finance team with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects

• Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
  Pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, Nested formulas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• SQL proficiency
• 1+ year of finance or accounting experience
• 1+ year of brokerage services or financial services experience
• Experience working with large datasets
