At Dycom Industries, as Manager, Financial Audit, you’ll provide oversight and management for the Financial Audit team and assist with the development and execution of compliance policies and procedures, including the financial SOX Compliance Program.

• Obtain an understanding of the company’s business processes and financial accounting.
• Prepare audit planning documentation for all assigned audits, including risk assessment, audit plan, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct audits in accordance with the audit plan to evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of internal controls and ongoing operations.
• Write audit reports to management outlining results, findings, and recommendations to strengthen controls or improve procedures.
• Determine compliance with policies and procedures that ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Provide consulting services for due diligence reviews, process development, and operating control enhancements.
• Perform and manage ongoing SOX activities—walkthroughs, control testing, and documentation of findings—according to the annual audit plan.
• Support tests related to compliance and control initiatives across the accounting environment.
• Evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of internal controls.
• Perform risk analysis, prepare process maps and flowcharts, and develop test plans.

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems (Master’s preferred).
• 8–10 years of audit experience with an accounting firm or a publicly traded company.
• Demonstrated understanding of SOX compliance.
• Demonstrated understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Demonstrated understanding of IT controls and IT security.
• Hands‑on experience in major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) implementation, upgrade, or post‑implementation review, including security and controls within the ERP environment.

• Routinely engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods.
• Occasionally travel domestically up to 20% for team meetings or training.
