A growing company in the energy systems sector is seeking an experienced Director, Investor Relations & Capital Markets to serve as a key liaison between the company, investors, analysts, lenders, and other financial stakeholders.

This role will play a critical part in investor communications, capital markets strategy, public company reporting, Board engagement, and strategic finance initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring meaningful experience working with publicly traded companies, a strong understanding of financial reporting and disclosure requirements, and the executive presence needed to engage confidently with senior leadership, investors, and the Board of Directors.

Please note:
This is a fully onsite position based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities Investor Relations
  • Serve as a key leader within the Investor Relations function, managing communications with shareholders, analysts, lenders, and the broader investment community
  • Prepare and support earnings materials, investor presentations, shareholder communications, and external financial messaging
  • Develop clear, consistent, and compelling investor communications and public disclosures
  • Help shape the company’s investor narrative, market positioning, and long-term value creation story
  • Gather and communicate investor feedback, market sentiment, and shareholder insights to executive leadership
Capital Markets
  • Support capital raising initiatives, financing transactions, and strategic financial projects
  • Prepare investor presentations, financing materials, due diligence responses, and data room content
  • Conduct capital markets research, peer analysis, valuation benchmarking, and financing alternative assessments
  • Monitor debt and equity market conditions and provide insights on financing opportunities, risks, and strategic alternatives
  • Support analysis related to capital allocation, liquidity planning, and long-term financing strategy
Public Company Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure external communications align with public company disclosure requirements, regulatory standards, and internal governance practices
  • Support SEC reporting processes, disclosure controls, and public company readiness initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership to ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant external communications
  • Support preparation of earnings releases, investor updates, financial disclosures, and other public company materials
  • Help develop and implement investor relations and disclosure best practices
Board & Executive Support
  • Prepare Board and Committee materials, dashboards, market updates, and investor-related reporting
  • Support executive presentations, strategic planning discussions, and financing-related materials
  • Provide market intelligence, investor feedback, shareholder insights, and competitive analysis to management and the Board
  • Assist with materials related to financing activities, capital allocation, strategic initiatives, and public company governance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • MBA, CFA, CPA, or other advanced financial credential preferred
  • 7–12+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Treasury, Capital Markets, or related disciplines
  • Direct experience supporting a publicly traded company is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of public company financial reporting requirements, disclosure obligations, and regulatory standards
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets, valuation methodologies, investor communications, and financing structures
  • Experience preparing investor communications, earnings materials, Board reporting, and executive-level presentations
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, investors, analysts, lenders, and Board members
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and sound strategic judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
