Franchise Finance Specialist

The Franchise Finance Specialist will serve as a vital link in our franchise development process, focusing on the tactical execution of franchisee funding and collection of corporate receivables. The role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective franchisees navigating financing options, ensuring all equipment and package funds are collected on time.

Responsibilities
  • Franchisee Funding Navigation: Act as the dedicated point of contact for prospective franchisees, reviewing financial profiles and matching them with approved lending partners.
  • Lender Relationship Management: Maintain a menu of diverse funding products and serve daily liaison with national and regional lenders to ensure timely loan application processing.
  • Capital Product Sourcing: Research and identify new or emerging financial products (e.g., equipment leasing, ROBS, unsecured lines of credit) to provide franchisees with a competitive edge.
  • Receivables Oversight: Coordinate the collection of essential start-up funds, focusing on equipment packages and initial brand requirements as they become due.
  • Pipeline Tracking: Maintain real‑time updates in CRM on funding status of all candidates, providing visibility to the development team for construction and launch readiness.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years in commercial lending, franchise finance, or a similar role.
  • Financial Literacy: Deep understanding of SBA 7a and 504 loans, and credit/underwriting in general.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to manage high-level partnerships with financial institutions, prospects, and internal sales/operations team.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex financial products into clear, actionable advice for entrepreneurs.
  • Organization: Strong proficiency in CRM systems and financial tracking software to manage multiple funding files simultaneously.
