The Investment Associate will be responsible for performing all aspects of underwriting and due diligence for real estate assets and operating companies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze and underwrite commercial real estate properties across all asset classes.
  • Model in-place and projected investment performance including investor returns across various waterfall structures.
  • Assist with all due diligence relating to new investments.
  • Gather market data including demographics, sales and rent comparables, and other market studies.
  • Prepare and present internal and external investment memos.
  • Monitor and analyze investment performance.
  • Assists with financing and disposition transactions.
  • Assists with ad-hoc/special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Science, Mathematics, Technology, Engineering, Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Three to five years of related experience, Commercial Real Estate experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and review purchase agreements, closing statements, appraisals, tax forms, surveys, lease agreements, and title documentation.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and underwriting related experience, preferably with all commercial property types.
  • Strong computer knowledge and skills including in-depth expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative.
  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work long hours, including some nights and weekends.
