This role provides advice and financial solutions to complex Global Commercial Banking clients, serving as primary point of contact, acquiring, deepening, and maintaining profitable relationships, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and facilitating client relationships with Product Specialists.
Responsibilities- Manage an extensive portfolio of complex clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50million to $2billion to help companies save, borrow, and invest for their current and future needs.
- Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships.
- Understand and interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
- Collaborate with domestic and international teammates throughout the bank, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management, and facilitate client relationships with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services in order to design and deliver financial solutions to clients and prospects.
- Lead and facilitate dialogue with a variety of complex clients and prospects regarding topics such as the client and prospect industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues.
- Coach and mentor peers, while utilizing leadership skills.
- Adapt to changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions as needed.
- Minimum of 10years of experience in Commercial Lending or Investment Banking.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage an extensive portfolio of clients.
- Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships, and closing profitable transactions.
- Professional sales skills and experience, including planning, execution and follow‑up of client meetings.
- Strong corporate finance, capital markets and accounting acumen.
- Financial modeling experience and completion of formal credit training.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Capability to organize, facilitate, lead and negotiate with a team of bank associates to solve client problems.
- Security Industry Essentials (SIE), Series7 and
63 licenses (must obtain within 180days of start date).
