Responsibilities
- Plays a key leadership role in BMO's Investment Platform Modernization initiative, spanning trading, model management, and related investment technologies.
- Leads the evolution and implementation of Centrally Managed Solutions (CMS), partnering closely with the US Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investments to deliver innovative investment models and portfolio solutions.
- Provides oversight across key Investment Operations functions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Collaborates closely with the Head of Investment Platform on operational, regulatory, risk, and strategic matters.
- Serves as the primary liaison with BMO Technology to align investment platform initiatives with enterprise technology capabilities and priorities.
- Analyzes complex business issues and drives the development and implementation of effective solutions.
- Contributes to strategic planning and business transformation initiatives.
- Identifies emerging trends, risks, and opportunities to support informed decision-making and business growth.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on investment-related regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
- Leads cross‑functional teams and manages resources to execute strategic initiatives and achieve business and financial objectives.
- Drives change management initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, readiness assessment, implementation, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
- Typically 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
