Junior Equity Research Associate

This is a hybrid role inside a small private family office based in West Palm Beach, Florida.

80% of the role involves equity research and investment analysis. The other 20% involves helping run the operational side of the family office.

This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career candidate who is passionate about investing, markets, accounting, and learning how a real family office actually operates behind the scenes. Because we are a small entrepreneurial office, responsibilities can vary significantly from week to week. One day you may be researching stocks. Another day you may be organizing invoices, tracking property expenses, or helping coordinate operational projects.

If you want a highly structured corporate environment where you only perform one narrowly defined task, this is probably not the right fit.

• Conduct research and analysis on public companies and industries
• Read earnings transcripts, filings, and investor presentations
• Assist with investment research projects and idea generation
• Monitor portfolio companies and industry developments
• Assist with monthly reporting and expense tracking
• Track rental payments and property-related expenses
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers
• Assist with maintenance projects and invoices for family properties
• Help with insurance renewals and general operational tasks
• Ensure that operational issues do not fall through the cracks

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field with a strong GPA

• Demonstrated passion for investing and the stock market
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
