Senior Associate - Acquisitions

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida

An entrepreneurial real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Associate to join its growing investment team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in sourcing, underwriting, and executing commercial real estate investments while working alongside experienced investment professionals on a rapidly expanding platform.

The ideal candidate is analytical, entrepreneurial, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where they can take ownership of transactions from initial review through closing.

• Source and evaluate new investment opportunities across multiple commercial real estate asset classes.
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models, including acquisition, development, and sensitivity analyses.
• Perform market research, comparable analysis, and investment underwriting.
• Lead financial and operational due diligence alongside internal teams and third-party consultants.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present opportunities to senior leadership and investment committees.
• Coordinate with brokers, lenders, legal counsel, consultants, and joint venture partners throughout the acquisition process.
• Assist in negotiating Letters of Intent (LOIs), purchase agreements, financing, and transaction documentation.
• Monitor market trends, capital markets activity, and competitive investment opportunities.
• Support portfolio strategy and collaborate with asset management teams following acquisitions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, investments, private equity, development, or investment banking.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of discounted cash flow (DCF), IRR, equity waterfalls, capitalization rates, and real estate valuation methodologies.
• Experience underwriting institutional-quality commercial real estate investments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Commercial real estate private equity or institutional investment platform experience.
• Exposure to development, value-add, opportunistic, or mixed-use investments.
• Experience preparing investment committee materials and participating in transaction execution.
• ARGUS proficiency is a plus.
