The Financial Control Analyst works for the Office of Financial Regulation's Securities Bureau in West Palm Beach, conducting complex financial examinations and investigations of investment advisers, broker-dealers, and other financial institutions. The role requires analyzing regulatory compliance, evaluating financial data, and preparing detailed examination reports while maintaining knowledge of securities laws and industry practices.
Key qualifications- Four or more years of professional examination, regulatory or compliance work experience with securities dealers, investment advisers, or financial institutions
- Bachelor's degree or higher in compliance, accounting, finance, economics, business, insurance, or risk management preferred
- Three or more years of recent professional experience analyzing, investigating, examining, or auditing in securities, banking, or insurance industries
- Strong proficiency with Excel and complex data analysis
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFE, or ACAMS preferred
