Strong Compensation Package- Guaranteed earnings of $40,000 during your first 3-6 months
- Base salary of $25,750

As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you'll help Michigan families achieve home ownership while creating lasting relationships within your community.
Responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with members, Realtors, builders, and referral sources.
- Identifying mortgage solutions that meet members' financial needs.
- Educating borrowers on mortgage programs and lending options.
- Managing applications from initial inquiry through closing.
- Providing exceptional member service throughout the lending process.
- Remaining informed on market conditions and industry regulations.
- One year of mortgage origination experience OR two years of experience in mortgage processing, underwriting, or closing.
- Experience managing and processing mortgage files.
- Knowledge of FNMA, FHA, USDA, MSHDA, and DU technology.
- Active NMLS Registration
- Strong communication, sales, and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Associate Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must be bondable.
