This is an intermediate-level position with the Department of Environmental Protection in West Palm Beach, responsible for processing permit applications, conducting compliance inspections, and providing technical assistance across air, waste, and water programs. Keyqualifications
- Knowledge of physical or natural sciences terminology, principles, and analytical techniques
- Ability to collect, evaluate, analyze, and interpret scientific or technical data
- Understanding of environmental rules, regulations, and policies
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Ability to perform field inspections including climbing, walking slopes, and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Skilled in personal computers, spreadsheets, and industry database applications
